How about Aula Medica, the University Hospital Karolinska's own auditorium? Built for Nobel lectures, large scientific receptions and conferences. Or Victoria Tower, the tallest hotel in Scandinavia. The 117 metres tall building, cast in steel, is named after Crown Princess Victoria, heir to the Swedish throne. In Hammarby Sjöstad, we find the Stockholm View, the first of many buildings part of the new project - Sthlm New Creative Business Spaces. 

While most of the buildings surrounding the city are modern, the creme of the crop of classical buildings is found in the city centre. Stockholm Concert Hall is Stockholm's leading example of neoclassicism and home to the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.
